Home is foremost a Christ-centered home, guided by Christian
values and reflected in the Christian fellowship shared by
residents of all faiths. Since opening in 1911 with
eleven residents, Bethany Home has grown as an enriching and
rewarding residential community, offering comfort and security
to those in their retirement years. |

Bethany
Home is owned and operated as a not-for-profit residence by
the Missouri-Kansas Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church
of America. Leadership is provided by a 15-member Board
of Directors. Board members, who come from various
denominations, are elected by the Missouri-Kansas Synod and
serve without pay. |

to
love God and their fellow man. |
