| The Bethany Home Association of Lindsborg, Kansas is first and foremost a Christian Home with a Christ centered atmosphere. The basic philosophy of Bethany Home is to continue the Christian Ministry of caring as done by our Lord and Master, Jesus Christ. |

| The Bethany Home is a non-profit residence for the aged and has a long history since its inception in 1911 as being an integral part of the Central States Synod of the Lutheran Church in America. Residents pay the basic day-to-day costs. Gifts and bequests, coming primarily from community and near surrounding areas, are used for capital improvements and enhancements of day-to-day operations. We are licensed as a nursing facility. |

| Application
Policy: |
| An application must be completed and returned to Bethany Home, accompanied by a $35.00 non-refundable check, and the applicant is encouraged to have a personal meeting. The Admissions Committee then reviews application, with priority placement being in order of the date on his or her application. |

| Admissions
Policy: |
| Once accepted for admission he or she will be notified two weeks prior to the occupancy date. Upon notification a $350.00 admission fee is due, that is used for individual record and room preparation. Payments for room, board and personal care commence on the designated move in date and are payable one month in advance. The payment period runs from the 16th of the month through the 15th of the next month. |

Assistance is defined as needing assistance in one or more

| (2) Assistance in transfer to bed, stool, chair |
| (3) Assistance in dressing |
| (4) Assistance in feeding |
| (5) Incontinence |

Transportation Charge: For out-of-town appointments
only - $0.485/mile, plus $25.00 round trip charge. (Local
trips, no charge) |

Therapeutic Devices: You will see a charge for special
order therapeutic devices (i.e.: splints, braces, cushions),
medical supplies or insulin syringes, etc. |
