Bethany Home is proud of its Activities Team. Our residents enjoy, grow, and are
enriched by the wide variety of activities, events and functions offered by our dynamic nursing home.
Residents may participate in regularly scheduled in-house activities, or take advantage of our
cultural and active community events around Lindsborg
and around the state. In September, our residents even enjoy a field trip to the Kansas State Fair in
Hutchinson!
Our Daily activities are held throughout the week. Many of these activities take place within the Activities
Center at the North end of the main building. Residents are welcome and encouraged to participate and enjoy.
The Activity Center may be reserved on Saturday and Sunday and some weekday evenings for birthdays,
anniversaries, and other events. To reserve the activities center, please contact Lan (ext. 141) or Celeste (ext.123)
in the activities office at (785) 227-2721.
Special Activites:
Periodically we have Pet Day here at Bethany Home.
Employees & guests bring their furry and not so furry critters to visit.
Pets make great Therapy for our residents and employees alike. They lift morale, inspire a smile, engage our hearts and
soothe the soul. Animal Therapy actually helps lower blood pressure and can improve the quality of life for people living
in nursing homes.
We currently have an artist in residence, working on her sculpture in our Sun Room. Residents can come and watch and talk
with the artist.
An interesting and enriching experience for all.
